Our story

Small enough to know your order. Big enough to dream.

Tiny Town Café started with a simple idea: a place where neighbours feel welcome and know each other by name. Our coffee is made with Illy beans, our pastries are locally sourced, and we keep the vibe warm — cream walls, espresso tones, and a red accent that nods to the craft in every cup.

Founders Frik Haycock, JG Haycock and Meyer Swanepoel are building the brand to franchise under South African law — starting with a pilot café, then opening the door for partners who share the love of coffee and neighbourhood hospitality.

Franchise opportunities

Tiny Town Café is being set up to franchise under South African law. The pilot is a modular container café — a complete neighbourhood concept partners can bring to new locations.

01

A brand people feel

Warm design, illy coffee, and a neighbourhood promise — not a generic chain look.

02

Ops you can lean on

High-level support across brand standards, training, and operations as the system matures.

03

White space to grow

Pilot first, then territories — built for partners who care about hospitality as much as we do.

The concept

A modular café you can place where the neighbourhood needs it

Tiny Town is built as a container-style modular unit — compact footprint, wood-warm interior, La Spaziale espresso machine, pastry case, and an open deck that invites people in. Same brand feel, designed to roll out to new locations.

  • Self-contained unit with open-front deck service
  • Premium fit-out: wood slats, illy, professional espresso
  • Ideal for precincts, campuses, parks & high-footfall corners
